Dr. Alejandro Molina received his Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery from University of Barcelona (UB) in Barcelona in 2004, then he obtained his Master degree in Urology and Andrology from the world-renowned University and Polytechnic Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, Spain, with one of the most prestigious Departments of Urology in the World, where he could be trained in the most cutting-edge techniques in Laparoscopy and Renal transplantation, among others. In addition, Dr. Alejandro completed the European Board of Urology in 2010 and gained his Advanced Studies Diploma from the Doctorate Degree.
Dr. Alejandro has been working at the University Hospital Doctor Peset in Valencia from 2011 to 2024, where he launched the Living Donor Renal Transplant programme, as well as introduced advanced procedures in urological laparoscopy, such as radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy, partial nephrectomy, among others, and has been Assistant Professor in the University of Valencia.
Dr. Alejandro as expert in Laparoscopic Surgery of complexity is pioneer in the performance of Transvaginal Laparoscopic Nephrectomy in the Valencian Community, Spain.
On the other hand, in the private healthcare sector, Dr. Alejandro Molina is recognised as one of the national and international referents in Andrology and Male Genital Aesthetics.
He has carried out studies in the field of neuroscience for erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, discovering a Neurobiomarker for premature ejaculation, and performs advanced and novel treatments in Andrology such as Platelet-rich Plasma, Shock Waves and Botulinum Toxin for erectile dysfunction, as well as the application of Hyaluronic Acid to the penis glans for premature ejaculation, and procedures in Male Genital Aesthetics such as penis enlargement and penis thickening with Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen Matrix.
In addition, Dr. Alejandro Molina is the Winner of The Top Doctors Awards Spain in 2020, considering him as one of the 50 best valued doctors in Spanish private medicine, and the Winner of The Doctoralia Awards Spain in 2022, considering him as the urologist best valued by his colleagues at national level.
Furthermore, he has been awarded the Gold Medal for Merit at Work by the European Association for Economics and Competitiveness in 2017 and the Gold Medal for Humanitarian Merit by the Ramón y Cajal Academy of Health Sciences in 2018.
